Rams beat Leps for first section win

Things haven’t been easy for the Ringgold baseball team thus far, but first-year coach Jeff Lander was thrilled with his squad’s comeback 5-4 victory at Belle Vernon on Thursday. Ringgold (3-6, 1-4) went up 2-0, then trailed 3-2, and rallied to take a 5-3 lead in the top of the seventh with their backs against the wall. They surrendered a run in the bottom of the seventh, but it won’t matter to them.
