David L. Lynch, 53, of Jefferson Township, Fayette City, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024. He was born Nov. 1, 1970, in Charleroi, PA, son of Barry L. Lynch and Nancy Hutchinson Lynch. He was a member of the NRA and the American Motorcyclist Association. He worked as a project manager for General Dynamics. He is survived by his loving wife, Shelley Smelser Lynch; son, Anthony Lynch and wife Michele; son, Gregory Lynch; sister, Suzanne Boni and husband AJ; sister, Darcie Lynch; three grandchildren, Kyle, Kylo and Kylan Lynch; niece, Alexis Boni; father-in-law, Charles Thomas and mother-in-law, Sandra Smelser. He was preceded in death by his father, Barry L. Lynch; and two brothers-in-law, Matthew and Kyle Smelser. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19, 2024, at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, FAYETTE CITY, Pa., www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024, in the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Jack officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA 15012.
