Mary Lou DiPiazza, 78, of Charleroi, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 15, 2024, surrounded by her beloved husband and children. Mary Lou was born on April 1, 1946, to the late George and Lena Bondi Zurivich. She was elected borough auditor, was a member of the Charleroi Recreational Board and was an esteemed Charleroi PTA president. She hosted unforgettable Christmas Eve parties, where her warmth and generosity brought joy to all who attended. Mary Lou’s memory will be carried on by her husband of over 60 years, David F. DiPiazza; sons, Daniel G. (Dawn Pipik) DiPiazza and Doug (Kelly) DiPiazza; daughter, Deanna (Jeff) Biddle; daughter-in-law, Kim DiPiazza; grandchildren, Devin DiPiazza, Deia Biddle, Gianna Biddle, Dax DiPiazza and Jeffery Biddle; great-granddaughter, Sunny Biddle; and nephew, Steven Bransburg. In addition to her parents, Mary Lou is preceded in death by her beloved son, David F. DiPiazza Jr., whose memory she held dear in her heart; and her sister, Katherine Bransburg.
