Team effort leads to great start for Leopards

A year after a difficult season for Belle Vernon’s baseball team that culminated in eight wins, the Leopards are off to a 5-1 start this season.

They were able to sweep Uniontown in a two-game section series this past week, and they’re currently in the midst of a five-game win streak after losing the season opener to Germantown Academy (Pa.).
