Amanda L. Phillips, age 42, of Monongahela, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was born April 16, 1981, the daughter of Robin Garcia Weiss. Amanda was employed by Douglas Education Center for over 20 years and was the current executive director of operations. She was a member of the Monongahela Church of the Nazarene. Amanda enjoyed nothing more than being with her family. Sunday dinners at grandma’s house, weekend getaways to the cabin, a good book on the beach and most of all being a mom to Reece and Ryleigh. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband Ryan J. Phillips; her children, Reece Ryan and Ryleigh Jo; her mother, Robin E. Garcia Weiss; brother, Gary Shawley; maternal grandparents, Ray and Betsy Garcia; uncle, Lawrence Garcia; father-in-law, Brian Phillips; mother-in-law, Susan Yurkovich; sister-in-law, Elisa Lenzi; and brother-in-law, Colby Phillips. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2024.
