Camden “Cam” John Ellin, 24, of Rostraver Township, passed away suddenly due to a motorcycle accident on April 8, 2024. He was born Aug. 23, 1999, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. Camden was a 2018 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School. He is the cherished and loved son of Michael S. and Kelly Jo (Melvin) Ellin of Rostraver Township. He worked at Lesleh Precision Inc. in Rostraver Township. He was Catholic by faith and a member of The Church of St. Anne’s. Camden was a seventh descendant of President Abraham Lincoln. He is survived by his parents, Michael Scott and Kelly Jo of Rostraver Township; his sister, Alexis Scott Ellin of Atlanta, Ga.; numerous aunts and uncles, his aunt “Mimi,” Merilee Melvin and Joey “Bean” Stringhill of Belle Vernon, Chuck and Lisa Ellin of Los Angeles, Calif., Cindy Williams of Rostraver Township, Linda and Kendrick Lora of Lawrenceville, Ga., Vickie Gniefkowski of Belle Vernon, Glen and Denise Ellin of Folsom, Calif.; godparents, Kevin Stevens of Columbus, Ohio, and Lisa Gray of Belle Vernon; and numerous cousins, friends and his best dog, J Lo, and bearded dragon Gizelle. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John A. and Etta F. Lincoln Melvin; and his paternal grandparents, Charles S. Ellin and Pauline M. (Rudinec) Ellin, and his aunt Joyce M. Stevens. Camden had a strong love for motorcycles, cars and Chipotle. He loved hanging with his best buds, Steve, Christian, Josh S and Josh V. Camden was also an avid animal lover. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Friday at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Rodolfo Mejia officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
