Missing dog is back home after 100-mile odyssey

People say dogs are a man’s best friend, but it turns out a German shepherd from Washington Township has a few hundred best friends of her own. Two-year-old Belle, with the help of hundreds of people across the region, made it home safely to her family in time for Easter after six weeks on her own — and a journey of more than 100 miles.
