Olympus Energy contracting police help for well pad area

Motorists traveling along Route 51 in Forward Township may be curious as to why a police car with flashing lights is sitting on the side of the busy highway. Elizabeth Township Police Department Lt. Gerald Cimba explained that officers are there “to provide traffic control assistance for heavy loads entering and or exiting the gas well pad that is being drilled on the property above Route 51.”
