Rachel Dawn Foster, 48, of New Eagle, passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2024, in her home. Born July 24, 1975, in Charleroi, she is the daughter of Eleanor Jean Foster-Richardson of New Eagle and the late Donald Foster Sr. of Speers Hill. Baptist by faith, she was a 1993 graduate of Charleroi Area High School and attended Douglas School of Business in Monessen. Her love for animals led her to her passion for being a pet groomer. She was the former owner of Precious Paws in New Eagle and had also worked at Candelore’s Barking Beauties in Monongahela. Rachel loved all animals, watching crime dramas, painting and cooking. In addition to her mother, Rachel is survived by her daughter, Lilah Foster of Smithfield, Va.; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald G. and Dawn Foster Jr. of Monongahela; a sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Ronnie Hatfield of New Eagle; four fur babies, Rosie, Matilda, Poof and Hank and Baxter the Rabbit; along with 10 nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2024. Service will begin at 5:30 p.m. with Pastor Kenneth Barner officiating at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767.
