James M Pearson – Billings, Mont.

By obits

James M Pearson, master sergeant, USAF, age 84, of Billings, Mont., was born June 4, 1939, in Charle- roi. He died on March 11, 2024, of a fatal heart attack at St. Vin-cent Hospital in Billings, Mont. A family member was at his side as he passed. James is survived by his second wife, Judith Marie Hale-Pearson, and her four children, Lori Cameron of Billings, Mont.,  Terri Hernandez of Dolores, Colo., Vicky Deangelis of Skull Valley, Ariz., and Sherell Kelling of Cortez, Colo.; and by two children with his first wife, Janet Lynn Pearson of Herndon, Va., and James Meade Pearson Jr. of Freeport, Ill.; and one granddaughter, Crystal Fausett of Port Orange, Fla. James joined the Air Force after graduating from high school and had a 20-year career in computer administration. After retiring from the USAF, he was a computer administrator for Pikes Peak Community College for another 20 years, retiring once again. He loved sailboating, camping and motorhome travel. This could be said of many people, but it especially needs to be said here. James was bigger than life itself and loved everyone to the fullest that was a part of his life. In addition to his parents, Joseph H. and Mary V. Dougherty Pearson, James was predeceased by his first wife, Harriette Gertrude Tune Pearson; and his brother, Joseph Pearson. In lieu of funeral services, James’ family will host a celebration of his life on his birthday, June 4, 2024. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Heart Association in his name.
