Betty Mae Wright, 94, of North Charleroi, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024. Born on Feb. 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Katherine (Kruell) Franks. She was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Charleroi, where she was a longtime Sunday school teacher. She was a retired bookkeeper for Campbell Transportation Company and taught aerobics at Center in the Woods. Betty is survived by her son, Warren L. (Sherry) Wright, CVA, CPA, Ph.D., of Marietta, Ga.; grandsons, Warren L. (Erin) Wright, CFE, and Blake Wright, EDS, all of Marietta, Ga.; great-grandsons, Warren H. Wright and Landon J. Wright; nephew, John Gricas of North Charleroi; niece, Cindy Randall of North Charleroi; great-nephews, Bryan (Alexis) Randall and Mark Randall; and great-great-nephew and great-great-niece, Alex and Thea Randall. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and John Gricas; and she is the widow of Lloyd Wright. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 509 Sixth St., Charleroi with interment following at Monongahela Cemetery.
