Rene Lynn Zdravecky, 56, of Roscoe, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Donnell House in Washington after a battle with cancer. Born in North Charleroi on Feb. 11, 1968, she was the daughter of Bernard Strychalski of Belle Vernon and the late Gloria Ermlich Hartley. Rene was employed by ARC and was a member of Roscoe Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing euchre and belonged to several card clubs in the Mon Valley. Rene loved going to the Meadows and attending bingo. She was always ready for a vacation or a cruise with family and friends. Rene is survived by her sons, Bobby (Mandi) Booth of Stroal Acres and Justin Clouse of Roscoe; daughter, Ashley Clouse of Roscoe; brother, Edward J. (Beth Crossland) Hartley of Stroal Acres; sister, Leighann (Cory) Campbell of Salisbury, Md.; niece, Sara Hartley of Stroal Acres; and step-mother Debbie Strychalski of Belle Vernon. In addition to her mother, Rene is preceded in death by her step-father, William “Billy” C. Hartley. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Inc., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18.
