New tanning salon open in Monessen

Lauren Popovich, a 22-year-old Monessen resident, recently opened Bronzeado Tanning Salon, decked out with state-of-the-art tanning beds, at the former location of Libby’s Dairy Bar in Monessen. The business began operating earlier this month and had its grand opening March 7 to 9. The name comes from the Brazilian Portuguese word “bronzeado,” which translates to “sun tan,” according to Popovich.
