Linda Mary Gregg, 71, of Elizabeth, Pa., died Thursday, March 14, 2024. Born in Pittsburgh on Sept. 2, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Loretta (Sliwinski) Waldo. Linda was a 1970 graduate of Baldwin High School. She worked as a nurse’s aide and medical secretary, retiring from Kane Hospital in McKeesport. She loved crafting and owned and operated Country Lane Crafts. She also enjoyed gardening, but most of all, loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, David C. Gregg; son, Richard (Jennifer) Waldo of Frederick, Md.; daughter, Jennifer (Petrovich) (Jason) Smith of West Newton; and grandchildren, Ruby and Henry Waldo and Emma and Joseph Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia and Ronald Waldo. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Church of St. Anne, 1870 Rostraver Road, Rostraver Township, with Rev. Roselo Melloria presiding. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
