Man who jumped from building charged with arson in California Manor fire

The man who jumped from his fourth-floor apartment during a March 1 fire at California Manor has been charged with intentionally setting the blaze. Christopher D. Grasty, 38, who still remains hospitalized for injuries he suffered in the jump, was charged Tuesday with single counts of arson – danger of death or bodily injury, aggravated arson, causing catastrophe, risking catastrophe, criminal mischief and 25 counts each of arson to an inhabited building or structure and recklessly endangering another person for setting his apartment on fire.
