Joan M. Kostyzak, 88, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Glassport, passed away on March 2, 2024. Born to the late Walter and Joan Razewski, Joan lived a life filled with love, dedication and service to her family and community. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Pamela (the late Edward) Terek and Jacqueline (Eric) Reichanadter; her cherished grandchildren, Justin (Michelle) Terek, Taylor (Dan) Zindren and Tyler and Austin Reichanadter; and her great-grandson, Oliver Zindren, who was just born in January and filled Joan with pride and joy. She also leaves behind her beloved and dedicated brother, Richard (Donna) Razewski; and nephews, Rick (Sandra) and Greg (Renaye) Razewski. Joan dedicated 45 years of her life as an office manager for Sun Ray Electric Supply Co., where her professionalism and dedication were unwavering. Beyond her professional life, Joan was deeply committed to her faith and community. She was a member of Queen of the Rosary Church (formerly St. Cecilia), where she contributed her time and energy to various activities, including the Christian Mothers and the Friday fish fries. Joan’s warmth and friendliness were evident to all who knew her. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her impeccable sense of style and grace was admired by many, always dressed perfectly and polished, a true reflection of her inner elegance. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME in Glassport. A memorial Mass to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and honor her life. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in Joan’s memory. Joan’s departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.
