Ferraro gets things done as junior commissioner

Elizabeth Forward High School senior Giovanna Ferraro doesn’t have a typical after-school hobby. Ferraro, who has lived in Elizabeth Township her entire life, was appointed last June to serve a one-year term as a junior township commissioner. Last year, Ferraro decided she didn’t have enough community involvement when applying to colleges. Her mother, Megan Ferraro, a four-term school board member, suggested she should apply for the junior commissioner position.
