Dean Zelenski, 64, of Charleroi passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, after a brief illness. Born on April 2, 1959, he was the son of the late Robert and Ida Bonitati Zelenski. He was retired from the International Paper Supply Company (IPSCO), where he was a manager. He was a member of the Italian Unita Club (IUC) and its duckpin bowling league and was an avid fisherman and had belonged to numerous golf leagues. He also enjoyed caring for his fish tank at home. Dean is survived by his wife, Sharon (Hayes) Zelenski; daughter, Jacqueline (Steven) Gray of Charleroi; son, Darryl (Brittany) Zelenski of Irwin; grandchildren, Erica and Kelsea Gray and Dominic and Carter Zelenski; brother, Robert Zelenski of Fallowfield Township.; sister-in-law, Jacqui King of Imperial; brother-in-law, Doug (Stella) Hayes of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; and his shih-tzu, Gizzy. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his grandparents, Rebecca and Mario Bonitati; infant sister, Catherine Zelenski; and sister-in-law, Marlene Zelenski. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. the time of services on Friday, March 8, 2024, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A.
