June Kefover – Perryopolis

June Kefover, 93, of Perryopolis, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Charles and Gladys Round Devesse and her stepfather, George Kefover, she was born in Lynnwood on Feb. 3, 1931. Formerly of North Belle Vernon, June has been a resident of Perryopolis since 1959. She was employed at Mellon Bank of Monessen for 17 ½ years and was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Belle Vernon. June is survived by her daughter, Vicki L. Gardner of McDonough, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Dana (Edie) Kefover of Jefferson Township; a sister, Diane Marraccini of Charlotte, N.C.; four grandchildren, Jason (Andrea) Gardner, Nicole (Robert) Watford, Dylan Kefover and Maverick Kefover; and four great grandchildren, Jason Gardner Jr., Chloe Watford, Montgomery Gardner and River June Gardner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” W. Kefover on Dec. 24, 2018; a daughter, Tracy Lee Kefover; and a sister, Linda Devesse. Arrangements have been entrusted to FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at a place and time to be announced on the funeral home’s website. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
