Rosemary Zalewski, 68, of Indiana, formerly of Monessen, died Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Scenery Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Indiana, following a brief illness. Born March 16, 1955, in Charleroi, she was a daughter of Edmund Stevens Zalewski Sr. and Caroline Bombalek Zalewski. For many years, she waitressed at various restaurants in the Mon Valley. Rosemary was a loving sister who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her beloved sister, Christine Zalewski of Indiana; and by several nieces and nephews who lovingly remember her as a “great” aunt. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at RAIRIGH-BENCE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY OF INDIANA. Her memorial service will be 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private and held at a later date. Online condolences may be made by visiting rbfh.net.
