Donora’s blight advisory board seeking grants

Donora has made a commitment to blight removal and started out 2024 by forming a blight advisory board that has a serious goal in mind — to go after any grant dollars that might be available to help the borough tackle the issue. “This council and myself are determined to move Donora forward,” said Mayor Don Pavelko. “The first step is to try to eliminate blight that exists throughout the borough.”
