3 wrestlers strike gold at WPIAL event

Three Mon Valley grapplers took home WPIAL gold over the weekend as the Class 2A wrestling championships concluded Saturday. Bentworth’s Chris Vargo (127), Belle Vernon’s Elijah Brown (172) and Frazier’s Rune Lawrence (215) all won district titles in their respective weight classes, and the trio joined impressive company with their wins.
