Monessen police officers promoted, new officer sworn in

Three Monessen police officers were promoted and one new officer was hired during a city council meeting Thursday. Officers Chris Gray, Brian Mickens, and James Stoken were each promoted to sergeant and Officer Ryan Bartholomew will join the police department. They were sworn in by Magisterial District Justice Wayne Vlasic of Monessen.
