The Bible Chapel in Rostraver Township will hold a free “Concert For Life” featuring Celtic music by Abbots Cross.
The concert is set for 7 to 8 p.m. March 1 at the church, 203 Johnson Ave.
This is the third annual year the church has hosted a concert to benefit the New Life Options Pregnancy Resource Center, 308 Chess St., Monongahela.
New Life Options provides free pregnancy services, resources, referral, and education to women and families.
While the concert is free, there will be a gift basket auction and free refreshments after the show.
Abbots Cross is comprised of Alan Booth on guitar and vocals, Mike Clancy on flute, Josh Gerba on drums, and Paul Basalacchi on bass.
Named after a town in County Antrim, Ireland, Abbots Cross is a Celtic group that has been performing together for nearly 20 years.
Their diverse musical roots in jazz, classical, rock, and folk infuse a fresh energy into traditional Celtic tunes, showcasing a commitment to both honoring tradition and exploring innovative musical territories, according to the band’s website.
