Daniel “Dan” James Delsandro, 53, of Rostraver Township, passed away on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, from a sudden illness. Dan was born on July 29, 1970, to parents John Richard Delsandro and the late Carolyn Marie Varosky Delsandro. Dan was a very loving son and took beautiful care of his parents. He is survived by his father, Richie Delsandro; his older brother, Christopher (Liz) Delsandro of Madison, Wis.; and his twin brother, Dominic Delsandro of Hilton Head, S.C.; nephew, Izaak; and niece, Claire. Dan leaves a loving big family of aunts, uncles and cousins (Delsandro and Varosky families). A heartfelt thank you to Maureen and Angelo Gioia for all their guidance and love during this difficult time. Dan was a jack of all trades. His creative nature was seen in his master chef skills, gardening and landscaping, in depth knowledge of music, especially Neil Young, and handyman capabilities. He showed his immense love for family and friends through his actions and words. He was a true gentleman who was well read and well spoken. Dan was always ready to break bread and drink wine with family and friends. His loss leaves a gaping hole in our family. We love you, Dan. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 4 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Edwin Wichman officiating. Private interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
