Stephen W. Kusmirak – Donora

Stephen W. Kusmirak, 65, of Donora, passed away on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Born May 5, 1958, in Monongahela, he was the son of the late Stephen W. and Clara Green Kusmirak. A 1972 graduate of Ringgold High School, he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in science from California University and worked for U.S. Steel as a research technician until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time fishing, but most of all spending time with his family. Steve is survived by a brother, Glenn Kusmirak of Donora; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Donna Rodriquez and Janet (John) Takach both of Donora; along with nieces and nephews, Haley and John Takach, Braden Gnora and Princeton Takach. He was preceded in death by two nephews, Michael and Scotty Rodriguez; and a niece, April Takach.
