Marlene Louise McAdoo Bitner – Pittsburgh

Marlene Louise McAdoo Bitner, 72, of Pittsburgh, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, in the Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born March 1, 1951, in Monongahela, the daughter of the late Arthur E. and Jean Pepka McAdoo. Marlene graduated from Mon Valley Catholic High School in 1969. She is the beloved wife of Phillip S. Bitner; beloved mother of Laura Popovski and husband Vasko, Kimberly Bitner, Scott Bitner and wife Julie and Eric Bitner and wife Lauren; beloved grandmother of Cassandra and fiancé Noah Perryman, Anthony and Gabriella Popovski, Aiden, Jeremy and Ashley Bitner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Arlene McAdoo; and two brothers, Edward and Gene McAdoo. Private visitations and funeral services were held in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela. Marlene was laid to rest in the Monongahela Cemetery.
