Margie L. Goodrum – Belle Vernon

Margie L. Goodrum, 79, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024. A daughter of the late Paul and Blanche Burkett Corbett, she was born in Pricedale on Jan. 19, 1945. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, she graduated from Bentworth High School and spent time as a CNA, private duty, as well as a homemaker. Margie enjoyed oldies concerts and following her favorite groups, along with playing bingo. Survivors include her husband, Ken Goodrum; two daughters, Sandra Painter of Pittsburgh and Kelly Imbrogno of Belle Vernon; two grandchildren, Kristen Evans (Ashley Fry) and Mary Yoder-Manown (Jeff); three great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Manown, Jaela Koerbel and Azayla Bruce; and a sister, Cathy and Tony Zumpetta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Corbett; a sister, Shirley Newman; her son, Richard Yoder; and grandchildren, Jessica, Michael and Alyssa Imbrogno. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. Funeral services will be in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Henry Frain officiating. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
