Dennis E. Vaccaro, 66, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, in UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 8, 1958, in Charleroi, Den was the son of the late Vincent and Jennie Russo Vaccaro. Denny was a 1975 graduate of Ringgold High School, followed by masonry apprentice school. Since his graduation, he had been working as a stone mason for Local Union Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers No.9. Denny was a master of his trade and a skilled stone mason. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, coin collecting and camping with family, but most of all spending time with his grandson, Vinnie. Surviving are his daughter, Alisha “Ali” Vaccaro (Brady Evans) of Monongahela; his son, Tristan Vaccaro of Monongahela; and two brothers, John and wife Patricia Vaccaro and Vince and wife Charlotte Vaccaro, all of Monongahela; and his grandson, Vincent Vaccaro; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael T. Vaccaro, who died May 28, 2016. MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, was in charge of Denny’s arrangements.
