Police seize more than $21K of illegal drugs in arrest

A Forward Township man who fled from officers on a motorcycle and hid in the woods is behind bars after police allegedly seized more than $21,000 of illegal drugs from his home late Friday.  Jason Smith, 37, is charged with persons not to possess, use or manufacture a controlled substance, fleeing or attempting to elude police, two counts of prohibited acts – possession with intended to deliver, evading arrest on foot, seven counts of prohibited acts – possession and a single count of prohibited acts.
