Timothy Roger Haney, 59, of Donora, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. Timothy was born Nov. 8, 1964, in Waynesburg, Pa., to parents Wilbur and Louella Spencer Haney. He graduated from Ringgold High School and subsequently attended university in Florida. He was employed as an operating technician III at U.S. Steel Irvin Works Plant for over 21 years. He was also a member of Mon Valley United Steelworkers Local 2227. Timothy met the woman who would become his wife and soulmate, Juanita Larkin-Haney, as an adolescent. The two enjoyed a blissful union for over 40 years and share one child, Timothy Larkin-Haney of Miami, Fla. Timothy was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was fiercely protective of those he loved and possessed a loving, yet strong-willed nature. He enjoyed music and concerts and was a true pleasure to be around. He will be greatly missed and loved by all who crossed his path. He is survived by his son, Timothy Larkin Haney; siblings, Wilbur (Sue) Haney, Lewis (Kathy) Haney, Douglas (Patty) Haney, Teresa Haney She, Jan Haney Harper and Jill (John) Garcia; honorary daughter, Cierra Larkin; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife, Juanita Larkin-Haney. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Lois Larkin officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
