Patricia A. Pettko, 85, of Monessen, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1938, in North Charleroi, daughter of the late Milan and Anna Kurey Pettko. She was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Church, Epiphany Ladies and Catholic Business and Professional Women, served on church council and was very active in volunteering in numerous church activities and events. She was also a member of The Red Hat Society, Monessen Friends of the Library, Monessen Chamber of Commerce and was a former board member of The Mon Valley United Way. Patty was an active member of the Monessen High School Class of 1956 and spearheaded the planning and coordinating all of the reunions and gatherings. She began working for Mellon Bank in Monessen in 1956 and became branch manager for both locations until her retirement in 1995. She is survived by her cousins, Marianne and Jim Flickinger, Ted and Judy Pettko, C. Leslie Pettko, Jake Flickinger and Marc Flickinger. Arrangements are entrusted to DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Friends are asked to meet at Epiphany of our Lord Church for a funeral Mass beginning at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery in Monessen. Condolences are being accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
