Sluganski honored on anniversary of death

Hundreds of people gathered Tuesday night at Renziehausen Park to remember McKeesport police Officer Sean Sluganski and dedicate a dek hockey rink in his honor. The ceremony was held on the first anniversary of Sluganski’s shooting death while responding to a domestic incident. “A year ago, every single person here, your lives changed forever,” Mayor Michael Cherepko said. “There’s no question about that.”
