It was a three-point game Tuesday at Belle Vernon as the Leopards held a slim lead over visiting Albert Gallatin. The second quarter, though, was a different story as the Leopards’ Zion Moore got hot. The junior sharpshooter, one of the leading scorers in the WPIAL, racked up 17 of his game-high 27 points to lead Belle Vernon to a 72-61 win over the Colonials. The score was closer than the majority of the game as the Leopards led by as many as 20 with two minutes remaining.
