Gladiators stomp Quakers

On the first possession out of the halftime break during South Allegheny’s section battle with Quaker Valley Tuesday night, the Quakers held the ball for a minute and 30 seconds before their leading scorer, Joe Coyle, was called for a five-second violation. The stifling defense drew a roar from the home crowd, which was treated to several hustle plays just like it in a 61-39 victory.
