Rally seeks return of funding for Whole-Home Repairs program

A group of local and state elected officials hailed the success of Pennsylvania’s Whole-Home Repairs program while calling for more funding Friday during a public hearing at the Allegheny County Courthouse. Whole-Home Repairs grants up to $50,000 in home repairs for households that earn less than 80% of the area’s median income. The program was first included in the 2022-23 state budget, but there is no money allocated for it in the 2023-24 state budget.
