Driver in drag racing crash to stand trial

A man charged with killing a 15-year-old girl when he crashed into her school van while drag racing in Dravosburg will stand trial following a preliminary hearing Friday in City Court. Authorities said William R. Soliday, 43, of North Huntingdon was racing Andrew Voigt, 37, of Penn Hills on Sept. 20 when Soliday’s Volkswagen Jetta struck a Serra Catholic van at 107 mph.
