Regina Marie McNeil – Niles, Mich., formerly of Charleroi

Regina Marie McNeil, 63, passed away peacefully on Jan. 14, 2024, at her home in Niles, Mich., surrounded by her loving family. Regina was born on Jan. 11, 1961, in Washington, D.C., to Barbara and M. Joseph “Sonny” Sismondo. Preceding her in death were her son, James M. McNeil, who passed away suddenly on Aug. 23, 2019; and her father, M. Joseph Sismondo. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Perry McNeil, formerly of Charleroi; mother, Barbie Darnauer; sons, Jason Sismondo, Blake and Michael McNeil; stepmother, Josie Sismondo; brother, Michael Sismondo, sisters Patricia Sferrazza and Sharon Zeledon and Regina’s granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Sismondo. Regina worked at the former Quality Quick Printing in Charleroi and Washington, Pa. Regina will be remembered for her stoic and self-sacrificing nature, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her departure comes as a shock and leaves a deep wound that is gravely felt by her entire family and others who knew and loved her. There was no public visitation or service. Cremation was provided by BROWN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES in Niles, Mich.
