Ida Jean Lucidi Runac – Finleyville

Ida Jean Lucidi Runac, of Finleyville, peacefully passed away on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at the age of 98. She was born in Herbert, Pa., on May 4, 1925, to Guerino and Sadie Furi Lucidi. Ida was a 1943 graduate of Clairton High School and received her associate degree from CCAC, where she was the bookstore manager for many years. After her “retirement” from CCAC, she became an associate broker for Century 21 Realtors. She was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville. Ida truly lived her 98 years to the fullest through her many travels with dear friends and family. She was a wonderful mother who lived her life with strength, beauty and grace. Ida is survived by her daughter, Victoria (Robert) Ferguson; son, Kenneth (Tonya) Runac; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and daughter, Valery Theakston. A heartfelt thank you to OSPTA Home Health and Hospice Care. They are angels on Earth. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 331 S. Main St., Washington, PA 15301. At Ida’s request, services will be private and are entrusted to FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
