Write-in candidate’s wife questions election results in Belle Vernon

Denise Stasko asked Belle Vernon officials at Tuesday’s meeting why her husband, Edward Stasko, wasn’t awarded a seat on council after receiving a majority of write-in votes during November’s election. Mayor Gerald Jackson said he didn’t have an answer for the Staskos, as the county decides election results.
