Negron moving on

The Mon Valley Independent sports department has continued to provide the best local sports coverage since its inception seven years ago, but it really took a step forward with the addition of then-sports writer, now assistant sports editor Jose Negron. While all good things must come to an end, it’s not a bad thing as we continue to grow as individuals. Negron will be taking a step forward in his career beginning Feb. 3 as he will join digital platform DK on Pittsburgh Sports for his “dream” job, covering the Pittsburgh Pirates.
