Angelo Galante, 76, of Monessen, passed away on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at Transitions Healthcare in Washington, Pa. He was born on Dec. 12, 1947, in Jacksonville, Fla., son of the late August A. and Joann Smith Galante. He was a member of Epiphany of our Lord, a member of Monessen High School’s Class of 1965 and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was retired from the United States Postal Service, where he worked in the mail sorting department. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Carol Fedarko Galante; son, Kenneth (Jill) Galante; daughter, Kathleen Fedarko; five grandchildren, Zak (Chi) Campbell, Hayden, Haley and Hunter Galante and Grey Seybold; and great-grandchildren, Avery and Harper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Galante; and brother, Augie Galante Jr. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, beginning with a blessing service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery in Monessen. Condolences are being accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
