Karen M. Leezer, 76, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully on Dec. 29, 2023. She was born on Dec. 25, 1947, in New Eagle to the late Paul and Agnes Leezer Jr. She was a loving mother to Tara Clark and Tiffany Ferry; cherished grandmother to Amanda Faske, Joseph Mortle, Julia Englert, Meghan Clark, Spencer Mortle, Tylynn Mortle, Niki Mortle, Nathan Mortle, Jayson Mortle, Aiden Mortle and Addison Mortle; beloved great-grandmother to Autum, Landon, Breydan and Logan Faske, Angelo and Lydia Grace Mortle and Bow Mortle; and dear sister to Roseanne Lee. Karen was preceded in death by her son, Eric Mortle; and her brother, Paul D. Leezer. Karen was an avid, talented baker who blessed her family and friends with the most gorgeous gingerbread houses. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A private service will be held at a later time. All arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, McMurray, Pa.
