On Jan. 9, 2024, Anna Brady O’Leary passed away peacefully at the age of 94. Anna was born Sept. 9, 1929, in New Eagle, daughter of the late Francis V. and Margaret Wilson Brady. Anna was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. She was a graduate of Monongahela High School Class of 1947. Anna received a certificate from the Robert Morris School of Business and retired as a graphic designer at Business Forms Inc. in Monongahela. Anna deeply loved her family and dedicated her life to them. She was a wonderful and compassionate mother and would do anything for her children. Anna will be forever missed by her family and friends. Anna is survived by her two sons, Gerald A. (Debbie) O’Leary III of Boulder, Colo., and Timothy B. O’Leary of Charlotte, Tenn.; one daughter, Rosanne O’Leary Kerr of Charlotte, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Emily (Jason) Kerr Steinmetz, Gerald O’Leary IV and Catlin Marie (David) Sheehan; and five great-grandchildren, Cameron and Carley Steinmetz, Scarlett O’Leary and Nora and James Sheehan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald A. O’Leary; and five siblings, Charles Brady, Theresa Deffobis, Margaret Bash, Francis Brady and Hugh Brady, who died in infancy. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Monongahela. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Monongahela. The family wishes for memorial contributions in Anna’s name to be made to a charity close to your heart. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
