Shirley L. Reno, 84, of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024. She was born on July 12, 1939, in North Charleroi, daughter of the late Michael and Isabel Strang Sacharov. She was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Church, Monessen High School Class of 1957, Thursday Night Card Club and the Red Hat Society. Shirley enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She worked for many years at Dudas Dental & Associates and Blasco, Ober & Associates. She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl (Nicholas) Bolias of Monessen, Dina (Ernest) Henderson of Monessen and Kristin (Joseph) Maione of Monessen; grandchildren, Nychole Whitlock, Justina Maione, Nicholas Bolias, Michael Beveridge, Nathan (Kayla) Bolias, Lorenzo Maione and Luke Beveridge; great-grandchildren, Steven, Ava and Nova; son-in-law, Arthur Maione of Greensburg; two sisters-in-law, Lee Sacharov and Kathy Hopper; two special friends who are like sisters, Nancy Horvath and Sandy Bergstedt; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly and enjoyed looking at their Facebook photos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony L. Reno; daughter, Vicki Maione; and two brothers, Kenneth and Richard Sacharov. She will be so happy to see her parents again and especially seeing her brothers, Kenny and Rich, whom she missed dearly. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, beginning with a blessing service at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Epiphany of Our Lord Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com
