Edward J. Strychalski – Belle Vernon

Edward J. Strychalski, 65, of Belle Vernon, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, in his residence. He was born Oct. 1, 1958, in Brownsville, Pa., son of Edward S. Strychalski and Agnes Vargo Strychalski. He was a member of the former Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Fayette City. Ed worked at the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel at its Monessen plant. He is survived by his brother, Andy W. Strychalski and wife Lisa of Fayette City; sister, Connie Strychalski and Kenneth Miller of Belle Vernon; nephew, Andy Strychalski; and niece, Alyssa Kukonik. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, Fayette City, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. A funeral service will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Crookston officiating.
