Basic’s 3-pointer lifts EF over Gladiators

Even though it’s late December, it was a playoff atmosphere at the South Allegheny Holiday Tournament Thursday. South Allegheny used a 9-0 run to retake the lead in the fourth quarter, but Elizabeth Forward bounced back by scoring six of the final eight points to pull out a dramatic 63-61 victory in a matchup of two of the top teams in the Mon Valley.
