Carrie M. Yevcinez, 52, of Charleroi, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023. Born Dec. 19, 1971, in New Eagle, she is the daughter of Colleen (Phillp) Blankenship of Wellsburg, W.Va., and the late Andrew Yevcinez Jr. Carrie was a 1989 graduate of Ringgold High School and continued her education at the Pittsburgh Institute of Culinary Arts. She worked as a chef at many restaurants around the area and in her spare time, Carrie loved to cook and bake for her friends and family. She is survived by her son, Brad A. Behanna of Harrisburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa (Eli) Hill of Perryopolis; a brother and sister-in-law, Andrew (Rhonda) Yevcinez III of Monongahela; a sister, Tracie Parks of Monongahela; a grandson, Bradley Daniel Behanna; three nephews, Ryan Stewart Jr., Dalton Stewart and Andrew Yevcinez IV; a niece, Joelle Dixon; her two beloved cats, Rusty and Pricella; and her boyfriend of two years, Jerry Williams. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Beatrice Lapson; her paternal grandparents, Andrew and Katherine Yevcinez; and a brother-in-law, Michael Parks. Friends and family are invited to attend her memorial gathering at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2023, any time from 4 to 6:30 p.m., at which time a service will begin with the Rev.
