Christmas Eve fire in Donora kills two

A fire claimed the lives of two people early Christmas Eve in the 1000 block of McKean Avenue in Donora and displaced families from at least two other homes. Tracy Honabarger, 41, who was at her home at the time of the fire, was transported to the emergency department at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 6:16 a.m., according to Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco. Clifford Honabarger, 38, also of Donora, was pronounced dead at the scene around 11 a.m.
