Barbara Ann Sigler, 77, of Pittsburgh and Charleroi, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, at Mt. Macrina Manor. Born on June 12, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Ann Dubnansky Sigler. She was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church in Charleroi and was on the board of directors for Mount Saint Macrina. Barbara was a loving, caring, generous and compassionate nurse. She trained at Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and worked at the Ear and Eye Hospital as a clinical nurse specialist. She was also the technical publications editor for the Oncology Nursing Society. Barbara is survived by her brother, Dennis W. Sigler of Raleigh, N.C.; and her beloved Yorkie, Lacy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandparents, aunts and uncles. Services will be at Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church in Charleroi, where Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, officiated by Father Stephen Wahal. Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Saint Macrina, 520 W. Main St., Uniontown, PA 15401. Online condolences may be sent to www.spallinofuneralhome.com.
